Al-Qira'ah al-Markisiyyah lil-Turath al-Islami (القراءة الماركسية للتراث الإسلامي) by Yusuf Samrin is an Arabic critical study examining Marxist approaches to interpreting Islamic intellectual and historical heritage, with the Syrian philosopher Tayyib Tizini (طيب تيزيني) serving as its principal case study.

The book analyses the intellectual framework through which Tizini approached Islamic heritage and examines how Marxist and materialist concepts influenced his interpretation of Islamic history, theology and intellectual traditions.

While Tizini forms the central case study, the author also engages critically with the approaches of other Arab Marxist and leftist thinkers, including Husayn Muruwwah, Sadiq Jalal al-Azm and al-Afif al-Akhdar, as well as discussions surrounding Roger Garaudy.
