ABOUT THE BOOK

Sūrah ṬāHā is the 20th chapter of the Quran and is made up of 135 verses. Similar to Sūrah Maryam, it is classified as a Makkan Sūrah and was most likely revealed in the fifth year of Prophethood, shortly before ‘Umar (ra) entered the fold of Islam and the first migration of the Muslims to Abyssinia. This is the third volume in a series that I have entitled In the Company of the Quran. The long term goal is to produce and publish an original explanation of the entire Quran in English based on classical and contemporary sources, God willing. This volume explores the meanings, lessons, reminders, benefits, morals, and guidance of Sūrah ṬāHā.
