ABOUT THE BOOK

Al-Mizan fi Usul al-Fiqh (الميزان في أصول الفقه) by Imam ʿAla al-Din Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Hamid al-Usmandi al-Samarqandi is a classical Arabic work on Usul al-Fiqh (principles of Islamic jurisprudence) from an important Hanafi scholar.

The work provides a systematic treatment of the principles used by jurists to understand and derive rulings from the sources of Islamic law.
