Inqadh al-Halikin min Ittikhadh al-Qur'an Hirfatan (إنقاذ الهالكين من اتخاذ القرآن حرفة) by Imam Zayn al-Din Muhammad ibn Pir Ali al-Birkawi is a classical Arabic Hanafi treatise examining the jurisprudential question of receiving payment for the recitation of the Qur'an.

The work was written in response to the practice of treating Qur'an recitation as a source of income, particularly arrangements in which a reciter is hired to complete portions of the Qur'an or a complete recitation on behalf of the deceased in return for payment.

Imam al-Birkawi approaches the issue through Fiqh and the statements of earlier scholars, drawing particularly upon authorities and texts of the Hanafi Madhhab to present his position and supporting evidence. The work therefore provides valuable insight into a classical Hanafi discussion concerning Qur'an recitation, remuneration and religious practice.

This edition has been critically edited by Aminah Umar al-Kharrat and published by Dar al-Qalam, Damascus. The edition is listed as one volume of 132 pages.
