ABOUT THE BOOK

Al-Īḍāḥ li-Talkhīṣ al-Miftāḥ is one of the most important classical texts in Arabic rhetoric (ʿIlm al-Balāgha), authored by the renowned scholar Jalāl al-Dīn al-Qazwīnī (d. 739 AH / 1338 CE). The book serves as a detailed explanation and clarification of his earlier work, Talkhīṣ al-Miftāḥ, which itself is a concise summary of the rhetorical sections of Miftāḥ al-ʿUlūm by al-Sakkākī.
