شذرات من القضاء والجزاء فی التعبیر القرآنی

ABOUT THE BOOK

The subject of this book is the study of selected Qur’anic expressions related to القضاء (judgement) and الجزاء (recompense) and an examination of both from a rhetorical and stylistic perspective.

Judgement: refers to a ruling whose meaning has been decisively settled and firmly established by Allah—together with its implications and intended meanings. It denotes finality, resolution, and decisiveness, and it is associated with clarity and determination in meaning.

Recompense : on the other hand, refers to what is intended in the Book of Allah Most High concerning reward and punishment for actions.

There exists a rhetorical contrast and relationship between judgement and recompense, and Surah Fatir serves as a clear example of this relationship. Through rhetorical and stylistic analysis, the book highlights these two concepts, explains their interconnection, and shows how each functions within the broader framework of Qur’anic expression, where both appear within wide and carefully structured semantic contexts.
