ABOUT THE BOOK

The original Aqidah al-Tahawiyyah is one of the most widely studied classical summaries of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah's beliefs, presenting foundational matters of Islamic creed in a concise form.

In this commentary, Mawlana Qari Muhammad Tayyib explains the theological principles contained within Imam al-Tahawi's text, making the work particularly relevant for students engaged in the detailed study of Aqidah and classical Sunni theology.

This edition also incorporates the supplementary work معاني الخلافة والسياسة المدنية وغايتهما, expanding the scope of the volume to discussions concerning Khilafah, governance and political organisation from an Islamic perspective.
