Az-Zahidi's work features eight distinct symbols to direct readers to other sources, showing his methodical and structured approach. His meticulous attention to language precision and analytical depth makes his commentary on 'Al-Mukhtasar Al-Quduri' a revered text. Although lauded, his theology, influenced by Mu'tazilite thought, drew both intrigue and critique.

Despite his Mu'tazilite beliefs, Az-Zahidi’s contributions to jurisprudence remain significant. While his views on matters of faith faced opposition from more traditional Hanbali scholars, his expertise in legal matters earned him respect. Contemporary scholar Sheikh Tawfiq Mahmoud Takla has further enriched his legacy by critically editing and explaining his texts.
